Showroom Librarian

Description

Summary:

Assist management/staff with the operations of the showroom in addition to helping customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains memo room
• Pulls memos
• Files memos
• Prioritize when dealing with multiple assignments, multi-task
• Assist with showroom customers
• Keeps memo room well stocked
• Answer phones
• Put new product on wings
• Other tasks as directed by manager

Requirements

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to work effectively with others
• Must be able to handle multiple projects while providing service to customers as needed
• High school education or equivalent
• Good reading skills
• Computer knowledge
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to stand/walk majority of day
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Good organization skills
• Must be neat in appearance and dress
• Textile knowledge helpful
• Comply with departmental and company policies
• Use materials and equipment effectively
• Display good safety and housekeeping practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
