How this role drives the company forward:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing graphic design elements and layouts for marketing assets to be produced in a variety of formats and media. The Graphic Designer works as part of a team of marketing and communication specialists to create high impact campaigns that capture the attention of customers through outbound campaigns and digital media. Actively reviews impact of campaigns and recommends changes as needed to improve effectiveness.

The Graphic Designer is an on-site role located in San Jose, CA.

What will you do:

  • Works with minimal supervision to provide graphic design and layout for a diverse range of marcom projects. These may include web pages (including mobile optimization and responsiveness), marketing emails, online advertising, digital video, digital animation, iconography, photographic imagery, illustration, mobile-optimized content, exhibition graphics and print assets and other media.
  • Works as part of a team of marketing professionals to create high impact campaigns designed to meet marketing goals. Actively measures the impact of campaigns and researches best practices that could be implemented to improve impact, timeliness and reducing effort. Makes recommendations of changes including estimating impact in reduced time, effort or improved performance.
  • Works proficiently using a variety of design and marketing tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Marketo, Photoshop, Premier, PDF, web publishing, HTML5 and others as needed.
  • Uses content management system and provides design guidance and support for the corporate website. Develops content and images for web pages for the website and Intranet. Makes recommendations for improved use of content management system to enhance visual appeal and customer experience.
  • Researches and learns current and new graphic design techniques, formats, and trends. Develops and recommends implementation in support of our marketing campaigns including estimating impact.
  • Completes projects and builds marcom templates in alignment with the corporate style guide.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously and takes responsibility for project timelines.
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


How will you get here?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Information Graphics, Web Design or Digital Media and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or 3 years with a master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Thorough understanding in graphic design principles and production methods for digital media, web, print collateral, and advertising is required.
  • Excellent skill and understanding of typography and graphic design is especially required—including a sound understanding of white space, layout, and color balance.
  • Required competencies:
    • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Acrobat.
    • Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
    • Moderate proficiency with basic HTML5, CSS3.



  • Knowledge of modern web development practices: responsive design, general html5 features including html5-based animation, web fonts preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written communication required.
  • Ability to learn quickly and tenacity for excellence in design and visual communication.
  • Preferred proficiency or familiarity with:
    • Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other applications.
    • Drupal, WordPress, or other content management systems (CMS).
    • Marketo or similar email and marketing automation platform.
    • Digital Asset Management systems or image/project cataloging practices.
  • Experience with mobile phone/tablet app design a plus; UI/UX design.

The US base salary range for this full-time position, expected to be located in San Jose, CA, is $105,000 - $115,000 USD. This range may be modified at any time at our sole discretion.
