About the Role:
The Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management within the warehouse environment. This position is responsible for maintaining precise records of stock levels, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and verifying the condition and quantity of goods. The Inventory Clerk will utilize warehouse management systems and barcode technology to track inventory movements and support operational workflows. By adhering to established safety protocols and procedure manuals, the clerk helps maintain a safe and organized workspace. Ultimately, this role supports the broader supply chain by ensuring that inventory data is reliable and accessible for decision-making and operational planning.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse operations, or logistics.
- Experience with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with operating material handling equipment like pallet jacks.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP experience
- Familiarity with import/export documentation and procedures
- Certification in warehouse safety or material handling equipment operation.
- Knowledge of dividing units of measure for inventory tracking purposes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record all daily warehouse transactions in the system while verifying physically.
- Attend to customers for dispatching procedures.
- Manage and maintain inventory tracking systems; assist with upgrades or transitions under Inventory Manager direction.
- Conduct frequent spot checks and partial audits of physical inventory. Reconcile discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment when necessary
- Maintain housekeeping and maintenance on equipment to keep warehouse clean, organized, and OSHA compliant.
- Identify/Report/Repair damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
- Assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Quality Control to upkeep standards. Identify/Report/Repair damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring accurate records, compliance documentation, and team readiness.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations

The required skills are essential for daily tasks such as accurately processing inventory data and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Proficiency with procedure manuals and warehouse management systems enables the clerk to follow established workflows and maintain operational consistency. The ability to read and interpret documents ensures that inventory records are precise and that safety rules are adhered to. Operating material handling equipment like pallet jacks is necessary for the physical movement and organization of stock within the warehouse. Calculating figures and dividing units of measure are critical for maintaining accurate inventory counts and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
