Job Description
The Lead Revenue Cycle Educator designs, organizes, and directs training programs for centralized revenue cycle staff as well as staff performing revenue cycle functions within the organization. This role is a key change component to ensure accurate registration, claim creation, and claim submission processes are followed to support the collection of revenue from payers and patients. The Lead Revenue Cycle Educator creates training guides and virtual training sessions to assist caregivers in performing their assigned tasks. The educator coordinates and conducts observation of workflow, providing real time feedback, andon demand direction.

Travel is expected to be between 20% - 30% of the time.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creation and update of training manuals for distribution during education sessions.
- Communicates updates to front-end policies and procedures to caregivers.
- Provides on-demand answers via teams, phone, or email to inquiries from caregivers.
- Creates classroom schedule for organization as it relates to applicable revenue cycle functions.
- Assists with building and maintenance of applicable revenue cycle programs/systems.
- Conducts classroom training.
- Provides training, feedback, and support for Revenue Cycle Educators.
- Performs special projects as needed and assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in revenue cycle operations, registration, medical billing or healthcare background.
- Ability to clearly communicate.
- Advanced insurance/payer knowledge
Travel is expected to be between 20% - 30% of the time.
