Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This key leadership role focuses on infection prevention and control while promoting clinical excellence and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
- Oversee the facility’s infection control and prevention initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based clinical protocols.
- Educate and mentor nursing staff on best practices in infection prevention and resident care.
- Conduct regular audits, surveillance, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all infection control activities.
- Participate in QAPI meetings and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Active Florida RN license required.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing, or healthcare facility.
- At least 6 months of experience in rehabilitative or restorative nursing.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards and healthcare regulations.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
