PEOPLE & CULTURE COORDINATOR

OUR ROLE

  • Provides administrative support to the People & Culture (HR) office for all employment initiatives to include recruitment, onboarding, file management, training, culture and recognition programs
  • Serves as the face of People & Culture, providing internal customer service with accurate, timely and thoughtful responses to in-person, phone and electronic inquiries; provides triage of escalated concerns to appropriate People & Culture representative
  • Owns talent acquisition initiatives to include drafting job descriptions, posting requisitions, coordinating interviews, planning and attending job fairs and career events to build talent pipeline
  • Acts as the primary pre-employment contact to ensure completion of all onboarding tasks to include electronic paperwork, i9 completion, uniform fitting, technology and supply orders, New Hire Orientation scheduling and collection of all required certifications and documents
  • Performs systems changes with care, accuracy and a high level of attention to detail
  • Contributes to internal efficiencies through the creation of job aids / guides for fundamental People & Culture procedures and processes
  • Embodies our Southall Values and infuses them into the planning and execution of property-wide cultural initiatives

OUR TOP CANDIDATE

  • Holds 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Excels in effective communication, both verbally and written, in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Demonstrates time management and effective prioritization
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
