SUMMARY:

The Accountant will use business and accounting skills to maintain and evaluate operational data for the Armstrong - Tulsa agency. The Accountant is responsible for agency level accounting functions, including, but not limited to general accounting, payables & receivables, financial reporting, spend analysis, material & labor variance analysis, billing & invoicing, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial responsibilities include General Ledgers, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing and Invoicing, Revenue Distribution, and Financial Reporting.
  • Ensure all defined work is performed within the timeframes allotted for each functional financial process.
  • Ensure all billing functions, including invoicing, revenue distribution, and ratings are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting and financial policies, practices, procedures, and initiatives at the Plant level.
  • Manage all accounting, bookkeeping, and financial matters.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance preferred.
  • Understanding of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
  • 2+ years of accounting work experience preferred.
  • Moderate to Advanced-user experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite software preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to keep maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
