Our new location in Boulder is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse to join our team and support our growth.
This PRN Nurse position is responsible for assisting the executive director and team in the care of clients and leading caregiver trainings.

Our new location in Boulder is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nurse to join our team and support our growth.
This PRN Nurse position is responsible for assisting the executive director and team in the care of clients and leading caregiver trainings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Lead caregiver skills trainings onsite at Senior Helpers of Boulder office and occasionally in clients homes, as needed.
- Evaluate clients as necessary to ensure client needs are consistent with the care plan
- Coordinate with management on implementing and revising operational procedures related to quality client care
- Function as a resource and mentor to caregivers to maintain professional caregiving standards.
- Act on client’s behalf to assure patient rights.
- Be aware of home safety issues, strive to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner, and consistently reinforce good safety attitudes and practices displayed by other staff members.
- Respond promptly to any client complaints concerning a caregiver, document complaints, and review complaints with the executive director.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Exceptional and verifiable customer service, client relations, and employee relations skills and experience; demonstrating the ability to be professional and courteous in interactions - exercising good judgment to resolve concerns at all levels internally and externally.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a changing and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication in person and over the phone; Proactive communication to prevent problems.
- Must demonstrate enthusiasm, trustworthiness, personal integrity, and honesty.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sound decision-making skills per HIPAA laws and regulations, company policies, culture, and philosophy.
- Good decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges.
- Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and dedication to keeping up to date technically.

- Passionate about providing excellent care to our clients.
- High school diploma is required.
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
- Must have at least two years of experience working in home health care.
- Must meet CO state requirements for Caregiving/RN services.
- Must have a valid and current state driver’s license and insurance.
- Must have safe and reliable transportation to go to and from the client’s location and/or facilities and have a vehicle available during assignments in order to assist clients with shopping needs if required.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.

- Able to lift, move, and assist clients. If you feel you cannot safely lift the client, please notify the office immediately.
- Ability to safely assist client in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle.
- Able to communicate with others to accurately exchange information.
- Able to operate office equipment such as a computer, phone, etc.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Able to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking and driving.
- This position’s wage is $50 per hour.
- Access to the Colorado’s IRA program.
