THE ROLE

EBM Software is now seeking a strategic and experienced Account Director to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for EBM’s acccultivating key client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. EBM is uniquely positioned with a diverse client base of privately held companies, leading private equity firms, and investment banks. We are looking for an individual who is deeply relationship-focused and has a keen interest in the intersection of data management, finance, and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Proactively build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for account-related matters.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor to clients. Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to position our solutions effectively. Provide consultative guidance and tailored recommendations to address client needs.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue expansion by developing and executing strategic account plans that identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Customer Metrics: Develop, monitor and analyze key client metrics (e.g., adoption, retention, satisfaction), translating data into actionable insights to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contract Negotiation: Involvement in contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and EBM Software. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and finance teams, to finalize agreements.
  • Customer Support: Collaborate closely with finance and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support for clients. Proactively address any issues or concerns and work closely with the customer support team to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance/accounting, computer science, or related field.
  • 7-12 years of proven experience in account management or sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective client-management strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Self-starter who is self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for technology, strategic thinking, and innovation.
