Accountant

Who are we?

XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems focused on research and energy development contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint. XNRGY is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its team located in St-Hubert. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this person is responsible supporting the finance department overseeing accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

An overview of your responsibilities

• :Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• .Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements within deadlines
• .Actively contribute to month-end and year-end closings in collaboration with various teams
• .Oversee bank and accounting reconciliations, identifying and correcting discrepancies
• .Collaborate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit requests
• .Analyze budget variances, particularly related to fixed costs
• .Improve financial reporting tools and methods to increase efficiency and accuracy
• .Document and standardize accounting procedures to strengthen internal controls

• ce.5 to 7 years of experience in accounting/finan
