Program Details

This is a 32-bed Medical Detox and Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program offering a full continuum of care, including step-down to Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), with both in-person and virtual PHP/IOP options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incidental Medical Services (IMS): The Program Nurse is responsible for the program's delivery of IMS from end-to-end (incl. provider coordination, ordering, storage, observation, destruction).
  • Documentation: The Program Nurse is responsible for the program’s medical documentation in the EMR (incl. physician notes, medication orders, med logs) for the program – whether directly imputed themselves or by another clinical staff.
  • Compliance & Audits: The Program Nurse will regularly audit medical documentation in the EMR to ensure the program remains in accordance the relevant policies and standards. They will be responsible for leading any relevant activities as indicated in company policies and procedures – e.g. Infection Control (IC).
  • Second-in-Command: The Program Nurse is the secondary administrative authority with regard to the day-to-day operations of the facility (behind the Program Manager).
  • Staff Training: The Program Nurse is responsible for training Clinical Technicians and program staff on any incidental medical services and relevant documentation.

Qualifications

  • License/Credentials: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) (required)
  • Education: High school diploma or GED (required), bachelor's degree (preferred), or equivalent vocational schooling in a relevant field (e.g. nursing school)
  • Experience: 1+ year(s) of nursing experience (required), 1+ year(s) of behavioral healthcare experience (preferred)
  • Additional: Current Health Screen / Physical (required) ; TB Test Clearance (required)
