Camtronics, LLC a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company is seeking a Project Engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Completes projects on schedule, within budget and within project specifications.
  • Coordinates efforts and communication among the various teams involved in projects
  • Coordinates technical efforts outside of the company
  • Defines and executes reverse engineering plans and objectives
  • Responsible for design verification testing and acceptance of all assigned project prototypes and first articles
  • Creates models and drawings in the product definition system
  • Estimates resource and scope of projects
  • Provides technical and project direction to other team members
  • Identifies, formulates and produces effective solutions to customer/business technical problems
  • Evaluates final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
  • Prepare product reports and documentation
  • Engages in lifelong learning and professional development
  • Developing new methods of repair

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrical preferred

Work Experience:

  • Experience developing repair products and leading development projects preferred
  • Basic antenna design principle with experience in testing antennas, or passive RF components
  • Aerospace or other highly regulated industry experience preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with production, customer units and prepare reports and documentation
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, successfully setting priorities to accomplish goals

Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:

  • Language: English
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in using Solid Works for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation or
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling, with Solid Works experience preferred
  • Experience with printed circuit board design and assembly, with calibration and testing processes is desired
  • Knowledge of electronic circuit design and system operation for radio frequency (RF) communication
  • Mechanical Drafting and GD&T Principles

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
