Origence is seeking a dynamic, hands-on technology leader to drive modernization, data strategy, and internal application development across the enterprise. The Senior Director of Internal Software, Data & Corporate Applications is responsible for ensuring that internal systems are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. This leader oversees two directors—one responsible for internal applications and another for data, BI, and analytics—and guides the strategy, architecture, and execution of the Microsoft-based enterprise platform, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Cloud, Power Platform, and M365 integrations.

This role combines executive leadership with deep technical proficiency, ensuring the organization’s digital foundation supports innovation, decision-making, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strategic Leadership & Delivery
  • Define and execute the organization’s internal software and data modernization roadmap.
  • Oversee enterprise architecture across internal systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Lead initiatives leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure services, and Power Platform for automation and analytics.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, and Operations to streamline business processes through technology.
  • Software Development & Internal Applications
  • Provide hands-on guidance for internal application design, development, and lifecycle management.
  • Establish engineering standards, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines to improve velocity and reliability.
  • Drive modernization and integration of corporate systems with Microsoft ecosystem tools.
  • Data Strategy, BI & Analytics
  • Own the enterprise data platform, including Microsoft Fabric, data lakehouse, and Power BI analytics.
  • Oversee data governance, quality, and accessibility to enable cross-functional analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC 2, PCI DSS, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop two director-level leaders overseeing applications and data.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage directly in architecture reviews and incident resolution when needed.

Education

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience

  • 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience in software, data, and enterprise systems.
  • Expertise in Microsoft ecosystem: Azure Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, and M365.
  • Proven experience leading modernization and automation initiatives across multiple business domains.
  • Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and data protection standards.

The starting salary range for this full-time position in Irvine, CA is $170100 - $212600 per year. This base pay will take into consideration internal equity, candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge and experience among other factors. Origence maintains a highly competitive compensation program. Under company guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual bonus to provide an incentive to achieve targeted goals. Bonuses are awarded at company’s discretion on an individual basis.
