BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Administrative Director II, Maintenance and Operations or designee, plan, organize and direct the activities, personnel and operations of an assigned division of the Maintenance and Operations Department; receive, review and assign work orders and material requisitions; plan, organize and supervise the maintenance of school buildings and facilities; train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Associate degree or two years of college level coursework with major coursework in the field of business or public administration or closely related to the scope of responsibilities and four years recent increasingly responsible journey-level experience in a related building trade, preferably in a public agency, including at least two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
