Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including posting transactions to the general ledger, managing vehicle inventory records and supporting accounts receivable/payable functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Reconciling and posting daily deposits to the general ledger.
  • Stocking in used vehicle inventory.
  • Assisting with general ledger entries for used and wholesale billing.
  • Managing lien payoffs.
  • Maintaining and reconciling accounting schedules regularly.
  • Assisting with month-end close, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and special projects.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • Experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
