What You Will Be Doing

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategy, focusing on market expansion, service innovation, and enhanced patient outcomes.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, including pharmacy, TPN< specialty drugs, procurement, intake, and delivery services to ensure efficient workflows and quality service.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, drug contracting strategies based on CMS and commercial fee schedules, and implement cost control measures to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, including those set by the FDA, CMS, and accreditation bodies.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead quality improvement initiatives, monitor patient satisfaction, and drive clinical excellence in all aspects of home infusion therapy.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and foster relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and referral sources.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team; cultivate a positive organizational culture that supports employee engagement and professional growth.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary spokesperson for the pharmacy, communicating with the Executive Team, Health Plan partners and key stakeholders

    What You Need To Succeed

    • Must hold an RPh degree or higher
    • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, business administration, healthcare management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in home infusion, specialty pharmacy, or a related healthcare service sector.
    • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, operational management, and financial oversight.
    • Prior health plan experience, understanding of part B fee schedules, Drug prior authorization, and knowledge of drug contracting strategies.
    • Strong knowledge of home infusion therapy, specialty drug management, care management, clinical best practices, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing industry trends.
