The Director, Partnerships is responsible for developing, executing, and scaling strategic partnerships that advance NIKE’s DEI mission. This leader drives both internal and external collaborations, oversees partnership programming, and ensures alignment with enterprise DEI and business objectives. The Director manages a team and works cross-functionally with DEI leadership, HR, Legal, Communications, and People Analytics.

- Strategic relationship builder with deep DEI knowledge and business acumen
- Proven experience in partnership management, program development, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading teams and driving enterprise alignment
- Skilled in data-driven decision-making and impact measurement
- Excellent communicator and influencer
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, HR, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of experience, education, and training.
- 10+ years of experience in partnership management, DEI, or related field
- Experience working with senior executives and diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Activate the Partnerships & Enablers
- Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy anchored to Nike’s DEI priorities and HR strategies.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external organizations, internal business teams to unlock resources, amplify impact, and connect DEI work to business and community goals.
- Create and maintain playbooks, toolkits, and operating rhythms for partnership activation, ensuring systems and access are in place for all teams.
- Grow Brand Loyalty: Collaborate on premium, inclusive community experiences and external partnerships that deepen brand trust and authentic connection.
- Power DEI with Data & Rigor: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure partnership impact, monitor industry trends, and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Partnerships team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Monitor industry trends and identify new partnership opportunities that align with DEI strategy and business goals.
- Report on key performance indicators and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
