Job Description
The mission of this position is to help Church members fulfill their divinely appointed responsibility to discover their families through family history methods, submit their names to the temple for saving ordinances, and to help bring souls unto Christ.
This internship provides meaningful opportunities for both educational and spiritual growth. Interns will gain hands-on experience in a faith-based environment while receiving mentorship and training to strengthen their leadership, communication, and operational skills. Working under general supervision, the intern will report directly to the FamilySearch Center Operations Manager and receive ongoing feedback and support to foster personal and professional development.
This is a full-time internship, with a commitment of up to 40 hours per week for a period of up to one year. While the position is primarily remote, interns have the option to work onsite in Lehi, Utah. Occasionally, the intern may be asked to attend in-person meetings or training sessions at the office. Schedule flexibility may be available to accommodate academic commitments.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on need. Under supervised direction the Intern will:
- Assist Operations Manager with FamilySearch Center operations.
- Host and facilitating meetings with FamilySearch Centers across North America.
- Assist in improving operational processes for FamilySearch Centers across North America.
- Meet and coordinate with North America FamilySearch Equipment Manager.
- Support the oversight and coordination of a small group of technical missionaries.
- Communicate with FamilySearch Centers and Stakes.
- Other assignments and projects as directed.
- Intern should be currently seeking a bachelor’s or master’s degree or have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the past 12 months
- Excellent communication, computer and organizational skills
- Comfortable hosting and facilitating meetings
- Experience with FamilySearch is preferred
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel
- Experience with software tools such as Monday.com a plus
Must be a temple-worthy member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
