These sister programs at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center and Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center are designed to provide specialist-level training in the core aspects of infectious diseases with an emphasis on system-wide antimicrobial stewardship. Residents will have the opportunity to provide a broad range of infectious diseases pharmacy services to develop expertise in antimicrobial stewardship principles, program and practice leadership, infectious diseases pharmacotherapy, anti-infective pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, scholarship and research, as well as interdisciplinary practice management.
