SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The Sales Representative for the Accelerator Program at Common Thread Collective (CTC) is responsible for driving growth by leading sales conversations and closing new business with early-stage eCommerce brands (typically under $7.5M in annual revenue). This is a client-facing role focused on managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from qualification to close, for Accelerator Program prospects.

This role is ideal for an emerging sales professional with 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing services, SaaS, or technology-based solutions. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a high level of organization, and an understanding of eCommerce brand challenges. The Sales Representative will partner with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs into onboarding and growth strategy.

  • Stay Hungry for Growth: Maintain a full pipeline, execute consistent outreach, and follow up promptly to keep deals progressing.
  • Communicate for Conversion: Translate CTC's performance based services into persuasive, growth oriented messaging that converts curiosity into commitment. Every conversation should clearly articulate how our strategy drives profitable outcomes, turning awareness into action and interest into booked revenue
  • Customize Presentations: Tailor presentations and proposals to brand stage, industry, and marketing maturity, demonstrating how CTC's Accelerator model fits their growth goals.
  • Collaborate on Forecasting: Work with Sales and Revenue leaders to build accurate pipeline forecasts based on deal progression and close rates.

YOU OWN THE SALES PROCESS FROM FIRST TOUCH TO CLOSE

  • Qualify and Convert Inbound/Outbound Leads to Opportunities: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective Accelerator clients, responding quickly and confidently to interest from emerging brands.
  • Lead Sales Conversations: Conduct discovery calls, assess fit for the Accelerator program, and confidently present CTC's services, value proposition, and pricing.
  • Close New Business: Manage proposals, follow ups, and objection handling to bring qualified brands into the program and consistently hit monthly sales targets.
  • Ensure a Smooth Handoff: Work with Strategy, Onboarding, and Client Success teams to ensure new clients enter with clarity, confidence, and momentum.

  • Identify Potential Cold Prospects: Use platforms like Apollo, HubSpot, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research, qualify, and prioritize outbound targets that align with our ideal customer profile.
  • Execute Thoughtful, Consistent Outreach: Develop personalized, value driven messaging and maintain a disciplined outreach rhythm across calls, emails, and social channels to drive engagement and build trust.
  • Craft Compelling Sales Narratives: Translate prospect pain points into clear, outcome oriented stories that demonstrate our value proposition and move cold opportunities toward close.

  • Solution Based Communication: Understands client pain points and articulates CTC's capabilities clearly and confidently. Collaborates with senior sellers to craft proposals that align with client needs and demonstrate measurable business value.
  • Prospecting & Pipeline Growth: Drives top of funnel activity through structured outbound outreach, research, and lead qualification. Leverages CRM tools, data insights, and marketing support to identify and nurture potential opportunities within CTC's Ideal Client Profile.
  • Sales Process Execution: Executes core stages of the sales cycle with precision, from discovery to proposal delivery, under guidance from senior team members. Demonstrates discipline in follow up, documentation, and pipeline management to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Operational Discipline & Forecast Support: Maintains accurate and up to date CRM records, ensuring pipeline visibility for leadership. Assists in preparing forecasts and performance reports while developing a strong understanding of sales metrics and conversion stages.
  • Negotiation Fundamentals: Supports the deal closing process by preparing materials, conducting research, and learning from senior negotiators. Builds foundational skills in objection handling, pricing discussions, and confident client communication.
  • Continuous Learning & Growth Mindset: Actively seeks feedback, shadowing opportunities, and professional development. Demonstrates curiosity about eCommerce, digital marketing, and CTC's growth systems to evolve into a trusted advisor over time.
  • Emerging Track Record: 1 to 3 years of experience in a sales, account coordination, or business development role, ideally within marketing, SaaS, or eCommerce sectors. Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage pipeline activity, and support revenue attainment goals

Technical Skills

  • CRM & Sales Analytics Fundamentals: Experience in CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce to manage leads, track pipeline activity, and support accurate forecasting. Comfortable using dashboards and reports to monitor conversion metrics and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Sales Enablement & Automation Tools: Comfortable utilizing tools (like Gong, Hubspot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to streamline prospecting, personalize outreach, and enhance conversion rates through data backed engagement.
  • Digital Commerce & Marketing Analytics: Familiar with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Triple Whale, Google Analytics, Statlas) and major paid media tools (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube Ads). Able to interpret performance metrics, identify growth opportunities, and communicate data backed value propositions that connect marketing performance to business outcomes.
  • Proposal & Contract Systems: Experience in using platforms like Rightsignature and Google Workspace for preparing proposals and coordinating contracts

  • $50,000 to $70,000 base salary, annually
