Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of IAM and RBAC strategies and technologies to ensure appropriate access control across systems and applications.
- Manage the life cycle of user accounts, including creation, modification, and termination of accounts in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with all HIPAA and HITECH regulations and ensure appropriate security measures are in place to protect patient information.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IAM technologies.
- Assist in the evaluation of existing security controls and recommend changes to improve the effectiveness of the security program.
- Work with IT and application teams to integrate IAM and RBAC technologies into new and existing systems and applications, including Epic EMR systems and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IAM policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure the highest level of security for our patients' information.
-  Provide support and information when requested for the performance of investigations, audits, and risk assessments as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
- 1-3 years of experience in IAM and RBAC technologies.
- SailPoint experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and AD authentication processes.
- Experience in a healthcare organization and familiarity with Epic EMR systems preferred. Knowledge of identity governance and RBAC, including experience with industry-leading IAM tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and HITECH.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to IAM and RBAC technologies.
