Your Role
You’ll be the organizational backbone supporting accounting, property operations, and communication. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, steady learning, and contributing to a well-run, community-focused business.

Team meeting to assess collaboration and fit
Practical exercise on organization & accounting accuracy
Final interview with leadership

Your Role
You’ll be the organizational backbone supporting accounting, property operations, and communication. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work, steady learning, and contributing to a well-run, community-focused business.
You’ll:
- Process invoices, rent postings, and deposits accurately in AppFolio
- Maintain organized digital and paper records for accounting and leases
- Communicate clearly with tenants, vendors, and property owners
- Track expenses and assist with reconciliations and reporting
- Coordinate maintenance requests and inspection scheduling
- Prepare basic reports and support owner statement processing
- Handle office coordination, supplies, and mail management
- Follow daily and monthly checklists for consistent accuracy
- 1–3 years of administrative, bookkeeping, or office coordination experience
- Strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through
- Clear communication and professional service mindset
- Comfort learning tools like AppFolio, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace
- Strong organization in hybrid or in-office environments
- Eagerness to learn real estate operations and accounting systems
- Experience in property management or accounting support
- Familiarity with zInspector or similar maintenance tracking tools
- Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Interest in pursuing a California real estate license
- ~$48,000–$68,000 USD (flexible based on experience)
- Choice of hybrid or in-office schedule (2–3 days/week in Davis)
- PTO: 15 days + 10 paid holidays
- Mileage reimbursement for local visits
- Full training on systems and workflows
- Clear growth paths in Accounting or Operations
