About The Role

As Head of Supply Chain Operations, you will lead the execution function within the Global Supply Chain Hub. You will be responsible for managing a team of supply chain planning professionals who oversee outsourced service partners and market-facing operations. Your focus will be on delivering service excellence while driving stability, agility, and accountability across a complex fulfilment network. You will ensure stable execution, optimal stock allocation, and on-time order fulfilment across channels and categories, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and minimizing disruptions. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and a continuous improvement mindset to adapt and scale with the needs of the business.

Responsibilities Include

Strategic and Operational Leadership

  • Provide overall leadership and direction to the Hub supply chain operations team
  • Ensure consistent and reliable execution of fulfilment flows across all markets and outsourced partners
  • Act as the senior escalation point for operational risks, exceptions and service failures
  • Set clear standards of accountability, performance and behavior for internal teams and third-party providers
  • Actively participate in governance forums to align execution with planning, commercial and finance functions
  • Represent execution in senior stakeholder meetings and decision-making processes


Oversight of Market Execution

  • Oversee performance across both top markets with local execution and smaller markets served centrally
  • Maintain a clear view of operational health and proactively manage risk across all touchpoints
  • Guide the team in resolving escalations, coordinating exceptions and engaging local market teams
  • Ensure visibility on fulfilment readiness for launches, campaigns and peak periods
  • Support development of execution playbooks that guide how markets and hubs interact


Third-party and Partner Accountability

  • Manage relationships with outsourced fulfilment partners (DBS, RMS and 3PL) and lead structured performance reviews
  • Ensure contractual obligations, service level agreements and cost targets are met
  • Identify and address performance gaps through continuous improvement and corrective action
  • Champion consistent collaboration between internal teams and partners to support efficient, scalable operations


Stakeholder Engagement and Risk Management

  • Ensure timely and structured communication with key stakeholders in the event of receipt delays, transport issues or quality concerns
  • Provide high-level oversight on the resolution of complex operational problems and recovery plans
  • Lead alignment on risk scenarios and mitigation measures with key functions including Planning and Commercial


Continuous Improvement and Transformation

  • Drive a continuous improvement agenda across the hub to reduce cost to serve, improve service and simplify execution
  • Lead initiatives to explore and implement new fulfilment models including direct delivery, VMI, consignment or pooled inventory
  • Support process automation, data flow optimisation and capability development within the team
  • Promote a performance culture with strong operational discipline, ownership and responsiveness


Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team with clear responsibilities and shared goals
  • Coach and develop team members to grow functional capabilities and cross-market knowledge
  • Ensure succession planning, role clarity and career development are actively managed within the team
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency and shared accountability across locations


About you

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain execution with leadership responsibility in a global or multi-market setting
  • Proven track record of managing outsourced partners and complex fulfilment networks
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and seniority levels
  • Deep understanding of fulfilment, planning and logistics systems and workflows
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions under pressure
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change in a dynamic operating environment


Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 annually + bonus opportunity
