The Office of Enrollment Management (OEM) at Indiana University (IU) Bloomington is dedicated to attracting, enrolling, and supporting a community of talented students from Indiana, across the nation, and around the world. OEM integrates strategic planning, data-informed decision-making, and collaborative partnerships across campus to create a seamless student experience, from first contact through graduation. The Office of Enrollment Marketing and Communications (EMC) in the Office of Enrollment Management serves all 10 units. A combination of creative mojo and data analysis allows us to implement innovated marketing communications to serve prospective and current students and their families, driving enrollment and retention to and for IU Bloomington.
The Web Services Coordinator supports online recruitment and digital communication initiatives for the Bloomington Office of Enrollment Management (OEM). The person in this role supports web, email, and social media best practices and strategies that increase awareness of IU, encourage engagement, and generate measurable, specific calls to action.

$17.50 per hour

Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible HTML emails and templates for campaigns in Marketing Cloud and/or Slate Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Perform thorough quality assurance (QA) and testing across devices and browsers, and email clients to ensure flawless rendering.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and data teams to ensure content accuracy, brand consistency, and proper audience segmentation.
- Troubleshoot email formatting, tracking, and deliverability issues, ensuring optimal performance and engagement.
- Maintain organized documentation of email builds, templates, and deployment processes to support team efficiency and consistency.
- Prepare and manage assets for digital campaigns.
- Support web updates and paid digital strategies aligned with OEM marketing goals.
- Assist with dynamic content creation using Ampscript and Liquid Markup.
- Implement tracking and gather analytics for digital communications and websites.
- Perform web updates and support reporting through website data analysis.
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience in relevant field
- Experience in higher education
- Experience at Indiana University
Required
- Demonstrates experience using HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to build emails and/or webpages
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Slate CRM
- Experience using photo and design software tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience prepping images and graphics for web use, such as cropping, resizing, compression, and color profiles
- Knowledge of basic programming and database concepts
