JOIN OUR TEAM AS A CORPORATE PARALEGAL - LEGAL & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong legal and compliance experience in the insurance industry? Orion180 is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support our General Counsel and Executive Leadership Team in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic legal initiatives. This role is a key part of our growing Legal and Regulatory Compliance team, working across all aspects of the organization to ensure operational excellence and regulatory integrity.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Legal & Corporate Governance
- Support the General Counsel in managing corporate governance, entity formation, and recordkeeping.
- Maintain and update compliance and corporate databases with accurate and timely information.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations.
Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Detect, resolve, and prevent compliance deficiencies and regulatory risks.
- Provide legal and compliance support for our active states and assist with expansion into new markets.
- Track and analyze federal and state legislative and regulatory changes impacting Orion180’s operations.
- Research federal and state corporate and insurance laws, preparing concise analysis for business decision-making and workflow adjustments.
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and support negotiation of contracts and other legal agreements.
- Manage the full contract life cycle, including execution, renewals, and database maintenance.
- Provide recommendations and insights on contract language and potential risks.
Recordkeeping & Legal Operations
- Maintain company records through our data vault and document management systems.
- Assist in developing and improving internal compliance procedures and reporting processes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Education: Degree from an accredited U.S. paralegal training program or equivalent combination of education and legal experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Research Skills: Proficient in LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

While performing general duties for this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and/or walk around (including the use of stairs).
