We are looking for a leader who enjoys building and improving systems, not only operating within established ones. The ideal person brings experience in software organizations where clarity, prioritization, and hands-on partnership with teams are key to making progress. If you prefer environments with extensive structure already in place, this role will likely not be the best fit.

This is a full-time, exempt, remote position. We are pleased to consider candidates residing in any U.S. state, with the exception of California.

As a Product Leader, You Will

  • Establish and lead the Product Management function and team
  • Define and implement a Product Development Lifecycle that drives clarity and delivery excellence
  • Build and maintain a multi-year product strategy and roadmap with clear priorities and measurable outcomes
  • Partner closely with Engineering, using both strategic guidance and day-to-day collaboration to support execution
  • Modernize legacy systems while introducing new SaaS capabilities and experiences
  • Evaluate and communicate product investment decisions, including build, buy, partner, or retire considerations
  • Engage with customers regularly to validate assumptions, gather feedback, and strengthen adoption
  • Build strong working relationships across Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success
  • Bring transparency to prioritization, timelines, and tradeoffs so teams stay aligned and confident
  • Develop product talent and build a culture of accountability, learning, and collaboration

You Should Have

  • Experience leading product in a software company, ideally in a growth environment
  • Success building or maturing product practices and teams
  • Ability to define and operationalize a Product Development Lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience partnering closely with engineering to deliver software
  • Experience modernizing an established product or platform
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and make tradeoffs that support strategy and delivery
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence across teams and levels
  • Experience engaging directly with customers to validate needs and direction
  • Track record of developing and coaching product managers
  • Familiarity with Agile software development, especially Scrum
  • Curious, practical, and able to build clarity and momentum without unnecessary complexity
  • Pragmatic Institute training or similar formal product education preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or engineering. MBA preferred. At least 10 years in product management with 5 in people leadership roles.
