Position Overview

As part of the talented Brunswick – Venture Group team, the Director of Channel Sales will lead the sales department and manage all sales operations for the North American market. Their duties include developing sales department strategies, training staff and setting sales goals to ensure sales revenues meet or exceed overall goals to keep the company profitable.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for directing the sales function of a sales group
  • Develops the sales plan to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the division
  • Responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume of a division's products and/or services
  • Manages all aspects of the sales function including inside sales, outside sales and customer service teams
  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks, leads and directs the work of others
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • At least 10 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Proven track record of profitable deals and experience in progressive sales roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of market trends
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • The ability to inspire and guide your sales team, set an example, and communicate clearly in pressure situations.

The pay range for this position is $129,500 to $219,000, annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
