Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Events Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the events industry. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of a variety of events, from corporate functions to social gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of various events
  • Support event logistics including setup, breakdown, and on-site management
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials
  • Assist with the creation of event materials, including invitations, programs, and signage
  • Help manage guest lists and respond to inquiries regarding event details
  • Coordinate transportation and accommodation for event attendees as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of event planning principles and practices
