The Fleet and Facility Compliance Director plans, directs, and evaluates the daily operations and activities of CFS and its subsidiaries which consists of residential and office buildings; grounds and yard; leased facilities; equipment and small tools, as well as fleet maintenance and procurement. This position manages staff, the equipment and property resources to meet a return-on-investment strategy in a manner that provides safe, productive, and cost-effective facilities and equipment for our employees.

- Serve as the liaison between the Fleet and Facilities personnel and other program departments and work closely with Directors, Assistant Directors (ADs), Day Program Supervisors, Residential Managers and Office Administrators to understand and meet program and agency needs.
- Collaborate with division and department leaders; and with the help of Senior Leadership, prepare and implement strategic long-range plans (three to five years) and forecast for space, operational, maintenance and equipment requirements.
- Help to develop and manage department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; recommend modifications as deemed appropriate and hold team and others accountable.
- Request bids for large scale maintenance jobs and in coordination with CFS CFO and CCO, evaluate bid submissions and award.
- Coordinate and monitor completion of general maintenance work completion and large-scale maintenance jobs completed by licensed and certified contractors/companies. Verify, review and approve invoices submitted for work completion.
- Maintain detailed cost management records and continually review profitability of fleet and facilities.
- Manage parking permits, Ez-Pass, Gas cards, GPS, and electronic work order system to include routine monitoring of dashboards and ensure prompt resolution to flagged items.
- Conduct and oversee quality control and safety inspections of facilities, fleet equipment; ensure adherence to safe work procedures and internal policy and procedures.
- Attend and participate in professional group meetings; maintain awareness of new trends and developments in the industry; incorporate new developments to provide a competitive advantage.
- Manage the Organization’s fleet management program, including acquisition, leasing, utilization, preventative maintenance, repair and replacement of vehicle and equipment fleet.
- Directly supervise the New York and New Jersey’s Maintenance Coordinator and Maintenance Workers and work closely with maintenance staff to ensure job responsibilities are executed. Provide oversight of these positions and the daily operations of the department including schedules, payroll, expenses, task monitoring & report completion, and meeting attendance.
- Co-chair CFS “work safety committee” ensuring a safe work environment is preserved.
- Participate in annual budget development for maintenance contracts, vehicles, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitors and approves expenditures.
- Maintain inventory control of tools, materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Maintain records to track vehicle registrations, titles, etc.
- Responsible for fully understanding and implementing oversight processes to monitor, effectively communicate and ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations and requirements, OSHA regulations compliance, etc.
- Bachelor’s or associate's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive responsibility and experience in maintenance, fleet, equipment, and/or facilities required; or equivalent of education and experience to meet the essential functions of the position.
