Our private dental office is seeking a Front Office Assistant to join our team of dental professionals! In this role, you will be the bridge between our patients and our dental team, providing guidance, support, and clear communication throughout their dental journey. If you have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping patients obtain their best smiles, we want to hear from you!

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Thursday
• 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  
  

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all supplies are stocked
• Schedule patients' appointments and ensure efficient time management
• Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring compliance with company policies
• Must have the dental knowledge on how to file claims to insurance and be acquainted with most dental insurances
• Good work ethic

Qualifications

• 1+ years of previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred
• Knowledge of insurance plans and verification
• Familiarity with Open Dental software
• Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse clientele
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Dentrix
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrated customer service experience with a focus on client satisfaction
• Familiarity with office management practices and procedures is advantageous
