Job Summary
The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for managing a team of two Salesforce Administrators and will report directly to the VP of Operations but work closely with other department stakeholders such as sales, support, sales operations, and finance.

Job Summary
The Senior Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for managing a team of two Salesforce Administrators and will report directly to the VP of Operations but work closely with other department stakeholders such as sales, support, sales operations, and finance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Data Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
- User report development & training
- Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
- Sandbox environment management
- DevOps/release management experience
- Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features
- Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders
- Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
- User support tickets
- Monitor and improve user adoption
- New user and ongoing user training
- Technical documentation
- Management and maintenance of integrated applications and third-party suppliers including Marketo, Milestones PM+, BlueSnap Payments, Chargent, DocuSign and others as applicable.
- Participate in annual Salesforce contract renewals and negotiations
- Regular and reliable attendance is required as this is a full-time position.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Salesforce and Sales (required)
- Certified Salesforce Administrator (required)
- Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder (required)
- Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, or professional qualification (preferred)
- A proactive attitude to platform enhancements (required)
- Designing scalable, best practice solutions (required)
- Excellent relationship-building skills (required)
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels (required)
- Translating requirements into technical solutions (required)
- Experience in change management and governance (required)
- Training end users and key stakeholders (required)
- Technical documentation (required)
- Available and responsive to questions (required)
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes (required)
- DevOps/release management experience (required)
- Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
- Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
- Active in the Salesforce community
- Prolonged periods of sedentary movement.
- May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
- Certain management positions might be required to occasional travel.
