Position Summary:

The Manger of PACE/Pharmacy Supply Chain and Program Logistics will oversee and optimize the critical operations that primarily supports the success of NeighborHealth’s PACE program, including transportation, food services, centralized purchasing, and pharmacy supply logistics. This role ensures that PACE enrollees receive safe, reliable, and cost-effective services while also building innovative and sustainable models to expand efficiency, lower costs, and generate new revenue opportunities.

The Manager will collaborate with executive leadership, clinical, administrative, and operational teams to streamline logistics, manage vendor relationships, improve fleet and food operations, and strengthen supply chain processes. With a focus on both excellence in service delivery and entrepreneurial innovation, this leader will shape how NeighborHealth leverages its logistics platform for greater impact across the community.

Transportation & Fleet Management

  • Direct the daily operations of transportation for PACE enrollees to and from PACE centers, referral specialists, and community resources.
  • Optimize fleet utilization, route efficiency, fuel/maintenance costs, and driver scheduling.
  • Implement safety, compliance, and performance monitoring standards for all vehicles.
  • Develop strategies to expand use of PACE vehicles for home delivery of prescriptions and meals.

Food Services

  • Oversee daily meal preparation and delivery to PACE enrollees at centers and in homes.
  • Ensure nutritional standards and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
  • Drive cost-efficiency initiatives across food sourcing, menu planning, and production.

Supply Chain & Centralized Purchasing

  • Manage centralized purchasing, storage, and inventory of all medical and related PACE center supplies.
  • Partner with pharmacy teams to ensure cost-effective procurement of pharmacy-related supplies, including vials, labels, and other materials.
  • Establish vendor contracts, negotiate pricing, and ensure just-in-time inventory practices.

Entrepreneurial Growth & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to expand transportation and food services to additional populations and external clients, generating revenue while maintaining quality for PACE enrollees.
  • Build partnerships with local organizations (e.g., food banks, community agencies) to reduce costs and expand reach.
  • Pilot and evaluate innovative business models to enhance financial sustainability.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred), or equivalent years of experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare logistics, supply chain, food services, or transportation operations.
  • Proven success in cost reduction, process improvement, and vendor negotiation.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including team development and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance compliance with creative problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, contract management, and budget management skills.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in PACE, healthcare, senior services, or community-based care.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for food services and medical supplies.
  • Entrepreneurial track record in building new business lines or revenue-generating programs.
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), fleet GPS, or scheduling software (e.g., TripMaster).
