Summary
The Marketing Account Supervisor has a vital role within the Account Management team, responsible for overseeing and managing accounts to ensure client satisfaction, successful project delivery, and overall account growth. This role requires not only strategic planning, team leadership, collaboration with internal teams, and leading client communication, but also deep knowledge of Medicare health insurance marketing to effectively guide campaigns in one of our most specialized and critical verticals. The Account Supervisor ensures delivery of effective marketing solutions that meet or exceed client expectations, leveraging expertise in Medicare to anticipate client needs and navigate complex regulations. A proven background in marketing campaign management, client relationship building, and team leadership, combined with specialized Medicare marketing experience, is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and internal teams.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Abilities
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills And Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literate. Experience with MS Office and specific proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel are required. Strong presentation skills required.
Physical Demands
This position includes periods of telephone-intensive work and may require sitting for long periods of time. The ability to travel is required.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Understand client goals, objectives, and challenges to deliver effective solutions.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling.
- Strategic Planning and Campaign Development
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop strategic plans.
- Provide insights and recommendations to clients based on industry knowledge and best practices.
- Oversee the successful execution of client projects and campaigns.
- Contribute to the preparation of client presentations, reports, proposals, and other documents.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Communicate campaign updates, progress, and performance results to clients.
- Ensure effective communication within the Account team and with other internal, external, and client teams.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Ensure the quality of all deliverables meets or exceeds agency standards.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Provide guidance, mentorship and support to Account Management team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Manage direct reports on Account Management team including hiring, training, assignments, and performance related responsibilities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback to team members to facilitate growth and development.
- Promote, safeguard, and embrace the “Anderson Way” our company customer services mission statement, with all team members.
- Financial Management
- Manage account budgets to ensure profitability and optimal resource allocation.
- Provide input for budget planning and responsible for revenue forecasting.
- New Business Development Support
- Collaborate with the business development team to understand prospective client requirements.
- Contribute to the sales process for prospective clients.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing account management, with a focus on team leadership and client services.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering results.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
- Strategic thinking, analytical acumen, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving business outcomes.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, as well as project management software.
- Direct marketing and agency experience preferred.
