As a Sales Development Representative at Tenon, you'll play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying and engaging with prospective customers. You will connect marketing departments at Fortune 1000 companies to the transformative power of Tenon, leveraging the ServiceNow platform and collaborating with Tenon's sales and marketing teams to build a robust pipeline.
What You'll Do at Tenon
- Prospect and Qualify Leads: Research and engage with potential customers via email, phone, and social channels to uncover opportunities within marketing departments.
- Leverage Partnerships: Work closely with the ServiceNow field sales team and Tenon partners to identify prospects and co-sell opportunities, positioning Tenon as a value-added solution.
- Campaign Execution: Help design and run targeted outbound campaigns that align with Tenon's go-to-market strategy and drive engagement across key accounts.
- Enablement & Collaboration: Lead and host enablement sessions and qualifying calls with partners, ServiceNow reps, and prospects to strengthen alignment and uncover new opportunities.
- Educate and Build Interest: Thoughtfully communicate Tenon's value proposition to prospects, highlighting how our platform addresses challenges in marketing operations, project management, and campaign execution.
- Pipeline Development: Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities for follow-up.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline progress
- Feedback Loop: Provide insights from customer interactions to Tenon's product and marketing teams, helping to refine messaging and identify new opportunities.
- Experience: 1+ years of professional and/or internship experience in sales, marketing, recruiting, lead generation, inside/outside sales or related experience in a quota-carrying role.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level prospects.
- Hunger for Success: A self-starter mindset with a passion for prospecting, pipeline building, and exceeding targets.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally and partner with Account Executives and marketing teams to drive success.
- Growth Mindset: A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Customer Focus: Empathy and a genuine desire to understand and solve customer challenges.
- Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
- Experience at a high-growth startup or marketing background
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM tools like Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- 1–2 years in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise marketing technology.
- Base Pay: $55K - $65K
- OTE (On-Target Earnings): $75K - $90K
- Uncapped commissions with accelerators
- This position follows a hybrid work model, with three (3) days per week in the office and the remaining days remote.
- During the onboarding period, employees are expected to work four (4) days per week in the office to ensure effective training, collaboration, and integration with the team.
