Description

The Regional Manager is a member of the USFAS leadership team and will report directly to the Director of Operations. This position is responsible for driving successful operations across assigned geographic regions, including oversight of finance performance, human resources, and marketing initiatives. The Regional Manager will leverage technology and data to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and support organizational growth.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations across assigned regional offices
  • Manage performance within budget to meet operational targets and organizational goals
  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable state, regional, and federal regulatory standards
  • Demonstrate understanding of podiatric office workflows, billing, claims, and coding to ensure effective operational oversight
  • Partner with the Director of Operations to build and maintain internal and external professional relationships
  • Lead post-acquisition integration efforts, including change management, staff alignment, and operational transitions across acquired clinics
  • Promote high levels of patient and employee satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee provider scheduling and ensure adequate clinical and support staff coverage
  • Maintain strong communication with Office Managers and stay informed of priorities and challenges
  • Establish routine communication channels with providers, staff, and support personnel
  • Monitor provider and staff performance to ensure delivery of high-quality care
  • Prepare and deliver operational reports as required
  • Use dashboards and financial statements to analyze cost variances and collaborate with senior leader on improvement plans
  • Address and resolve patient and employee concerns
  • Identify and drive efficiency improvements in direct and indirect costs
  • Support development and execution of regional marketing strategies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Education, Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare operations leadership
  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing a team of 5-10 managers
  • Proven ability to work independently and make sound, data-driven decisions
  • Experience with statistics, financial oversight, and quality performance metrics preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical insurance, billing and reimbursement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with patients, staff, and external partners
  • EHR/EMR proficiency
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 50%)
