Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants for this position must have: - Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment or Educational Sign Skills Evaluation score of 3.0-3.9 or pass a local performance indicator in American Sign Language, which includes receptive and expressive skills. Applicants for this position must also have: - High school diploma or the equivalent, AND one of the following - Two years of college (48 units), or - A. A. degree (or higher), or - Passage of CBEST exam, or - Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. (Paraprofessional Test) Applicants interested in this position must, electronically, complete a current online EdJoin application.
