Vice President Capital Projects, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $400,000/year USD at Trilogy

Date: 8 hours ago
City: Cape Coral, FL
Salary: $200 per hour
Contract type: Full time
Remote
Ever transformed a blank canvas of raw land into a vibrant, fully-operational educational facility? Where students thrive, systems function flawlessly, and every compliance box is checked? This role elevates that expertise to an entirely new level of impact.

At 2 Hour Learning, we're revolutionizing education with a national network of private schools delivering complete academic instruction in just two hours. Our ambitious vision demands equally ambitious physical execution. You'll spearhead our campus creation process—from initial dirt assessment to students walking through the doors. This journey spans site evaluation, permit navigation, construction oversight, and successful handover to operations teams.

This isn't about delegation—it's about direct execution. You'll personally drive high-stakes development projects with meticulous attention to detail and unwavering momentum. Collaborating across Real Estate, Legal, Finance, and Campus Operations, you'll inject velocity and structure into every interaction. We're seeking more than a project manager—we need a true builder with decisive action instincts, technology-forward thinking, and proven success converting challenges into completed facilities.

Eager to pioneer the most rapidly-deployed educational facilities in America? Join us in building tomorrow's learning environments today.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Orchestrating complete campus construction projects—transforming undeveloped properties into fully operational schools across diverse U.S. markets
  • Developing comprehensive feasibility analyses, budget frameworks, and regulatory risk evaluations to inform critical go/no-go investment decisions
  • Crafting detailed milestone-based construction roadmaps and implementation strategies while synchronizing efforts across stakeholder teams
  • Navigating complex permitting landscapes and regulatory frameworks across various jurisdictions—proactively identifying and resolving potential roadblocks
  • Engaging and maintaining accountability with vendor partners through precise scope definitions, performance agreements, and structured escalation protocols

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Taking a passive approach waiting for consensus—this position demands proactive leadership and decisive forward motion
  • Implementing rigid, one-size-fits-all methodologies—each location presents unique building codes, zoning requirements, and design considerations requiring creative adaptation
  • Delegating core responsibilities to internal teams—you own outcomes directly rather than serving as a communication intermediary
  • Engaging in prolonged planning cycles—your approach prioritizes momentum, obstacle removal, and decision clarity even with incomplete information
  • Maintaining strict work-hour boundaries—this high-impact role requires commitment proportional to its strategic importance and deliverables
