The Marketing Specialist will provide services for Coachlight Clinic & Spa and Des Moines Plastic Surgery companies. This is a unique opportunity for someone to lead marketing efforts across several companies in the aesthetic space. This person will be highly adaptable, capable of wearing multiple hats throughout the day to support diverse marketing strategies for these areas of business. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and communicating marketing for all products and services under these companies.

CPP Clinics is a leading provider of medical aesthetics services, offering innovative treatments across multiple medspas under the CPP umbrella. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences and outstanding results, utilizing advanced technologies and personalized care.

This is an in-office full time position that will require working on-site Monday through Friday. This position also requires regular and consistent attendance at all company locations to ensure alignment across teams and initiatives.

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities

Events & External Marketing

  • Plan and execute community events, networking activities, B2B opportunities, and local partnerships.
  • Support event preparation, pre/post-event communication, lead tracking, and collateral needs.
  • Attend Chamber, networking, and other community marketing events as needed; report on engagement outcomes and recommend future opportunities that support growing the practice.
  • Organize gift certificates, donations, and displays for charities; ensure all items are properly tracked in software and relevant staff are informed of the details to support coordinated efforts.

Digital Marketing & Strategy

  • Develop, implement, manage and communicate integrated digital marketing strategies to drive engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness.
  • Create, optimize, and manage content across websites, social media, email, retargeting, display, and search campaigns. Must have experience with google ads and meta ads.
  • Use marketing automation tools and analytics to monitor performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements for greater customer engagement.
  • Maintain and update websites with new content, services, events, and promotions to ensure accuracy and freshness.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to identify new tactics and opportunities and communicate findings.

Campaigns, Promotions & Collateral

  • Collaborate with managers and directors to plan monthly specials, promotions, and marketing calendars and communicate accordingly.
  • Coordinate with advertising agencies on traditional media (TV, radio, billboards, print) and communicate findings to Director for final approval.
  • Develop internal and external marketing strategies, promotions, packages, memberships, and partnerships with DMPS/CCS managers.
  • Create and update marketing materials including flyers, posters, brochures, and event collateral.
  • Manage customer loyalty and referral programs, including cards, print, website, and other assets.

Content & Media Development

  • Write articles for magazines, newspapers, and online platforms; coordinate photography for staff, events, and articles by scheduling shoots, gathering approvals, and maintaining clear, timely communication with all participants.
  • Ensure timely posting of photos and content on websites and social channels.
  • Vendor & Supply Management
  • Manage relationships with vendors for marketing supplies; order and update items as needed (business cards, brochures, gift cards, VIP cards, bags, folders, etc.).
  • Verify marketing supplies are stocked and accessible for staff, including brochure holders in rooms.

Team Collaboration & Professional Development

  • Coordinate events and ensure successful execution.
  • Attend sales representative meetings, practice management webinars, and marketing conferences to stay informed on products and marketing opportunities and communicate findings.
  • Track patients generated through marketing efforts and communicate results to leadership.
  • Field inbound marketing calls and route appropriately.
  • Partner with lead strategist at Coachlight and DMPS Front Desk to maintain accurate CRM lead timely and consistent communication with prospects.

What We Require Of You

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant marketing, digital media, or content creation experience (retail or customer service experience a plus)
  • Proficiency with major platforms and tools including Facebook/Instagram Ads, Twitter/X, YouTube, Google Ads, Tik Tok, blogs, and related analytics tools, etc.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for social blogs, and other media, plus experience with visual editing and publishing tools
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong attention to detail: able to prioritize, recommend actions, and initiate work independently with minimal direction
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; able to tailor content to multiple platforms and audiences
  • Demonstrated passion for storytelling and the ability to produce creative, engaging content across print, digital, website, and video formats.
  • Ability to assess campaign performance, customer data, and marketing analytics to inform strategy and optimize marketing investment.

Work Environment

This position is routinely required to work in a medical environment that is mildly noisy. This position requires an in-person presence at our clinic.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Employee must be able to communicate verbally and have the ability to hear to effectively interact with customers and team members. Some lifting may be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. May need to use hands to finger, handle, or feel on an occasional basis. Squatting and bending is required infrequently.
