About the Role

The Quality Control Technician will perform laboratory and field testing of aggregate materials to ensure compliance with local, state, and customer specifications. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting operations, and ensuring adherence to safety and testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular sampling and testing of aggregate materials in both field and laboratory environments.
• Ensure that all materials meet production, state, and customer quality specifications.
• Calibrate, maintain, and repair laboratory testing equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate quality control data, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Assist in new product design and troubleshooting quality issues at the plant.
• Collaborate with QC teams and management to complete testing within deadlines.
• Transport and coordinate samples between mine sites, plants, and laboratories.
• Obtain and maintain relevant certifications as required by local and state agencies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Prior experience in aggregate or construction materials quality control testing preferred.
• Certifications: Current ATTI Lab Soils/Aggregate Technician certification or ability to obtain.
• Skills & Attributes:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and navigate uneven terrain.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and extended shifts.
