Job Description
The VIP Call Center Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling various theme park products, including Universal Studios Hollywood’s premier product, the VIP Experience. This role is accountable for meeting or exceeding the sales goals of a 365-day-a-year sales operation. The VIP Call Center Sales Specialist must be able to convey a sense of expertise and product knowledge while maximizing sales and providing exceptional guest service.

Job Description
The VIP Call Center Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling various theme park products, including Universal Studios Hollywood’s premier product, the VIP Experience. This role is accountable for meeting or exceeding the sales goals of a 365-day-a-year sales operation. The VIP Call Center Sales Specialist must be able to convey a sense of expertise and product knowledge while maximizing sales and providing exceptional guest service.
General Responsibilities
- Effectively upsell guests to the VIP Experience, in addition to selling other theme park products, in a contact center environment.
- Meet established sales metrics and quality standards.
- Engage with guests and clients through various channels, including inbound/outbound calls, email, and web-to-leads.
- Foster good working relationships with internal and external partners through honesty and integrity.
- Continue to be well-versed in all products and relevant theme park information in order to effectively present and discuss USH’s product offerings, with special emphasis on the VIP Experience, Group Sales, Youth Programs, and Special Events.
- Process ticket orders and reservations according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Familiar with Universal Studios Hollywood as a destination.
- Sales call center experience.
- Proven ability to upsell into an upscale, premium product.
- High level of professional customer service.
- Solid sales aptitude with ability to excel at consumer-direct sales, including the skills to adapt sales presentations based on consumers’ needs and wants.
- Capable of thriving in a high-pressure, team-oriented and fast-paced environment with the ability to persevere and maintain a positive attitude.
- Exceptional attendance record, reliable and punctual with ability to adhere to established break/lunch times.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and aptitude to quickly learn new systems.
- Ability to speak foreign languages, particularly Spanish and/or Mandarin, is a plus.
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
