Rehab Office Lead, FT Days at PIH Health

The primary responsibilities of the Rehab Office Lead are to coordinate day to day administrative functions under the leadership of the management team and provide input and training in clerical standard work. Performs audits and assists management in all aspects of patient registration, patient charge entry, insurance verification, in-patient scheduling, out-patient scheduling, reception and copay collection, billing error correction, administrative assistance to rehab management team. The Rehab Office Lead serves as a role model within the department and throughout the organization always displaying the “Patients First” vision in their performance and decision making.

• Good English spelling skills
• Good English reading and comprehension skills
• Ability to follow directions as outlined in policies or given by Management.
• Computer Skills / Typing 45 wpm minimum.
• Ability to utilize all applicable computer programs to assist with administrative coordination activities.

Required Experience

Required:

• Minimum two years' experience in patient registration
• Minimum two years' experience in medical insurance and rehab authorization process
• Medical terminology or demonstrated proficiency within six months of hire date.
• Telephone experience with good phone etiquette
• High school graduate
  
  
  

Preferred:

• Bilingual skills in Spanish / Chinese preferred.
