Job Summary

We are seeking a front desk Patient Coordinator for Fayetteville Medical Clinic located in Fayetteville, AR. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English). Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Some experience working in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 7:00a - 4:00p


Responsibilities 

  • Provides exceptional customer service during all aspects of a patient visit to Community Clinic. 
  • Ensures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and updated regularly for all patients.
  • Ensures patient payments are collected, posted correctly to accounts, and collections are balanced daily. 
  • Schedules patient appointments 
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment 
  • Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
  • Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow. 


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is required. 
  • Medical terminology and insurance verification experience preferred
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
