What You’ll Do
- Prepare and process court documents to arrange hearings, update case files, and finalize orders.
- Review legal paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with court procedures and laws.
- Assist attorneys, judges, and the public by providing information on legal processes and case status.
- Maintain case files and utilize court software to input, track, and retrieve case-related information.
- Contribute to the fair administration of justice by ensuring accurate and timely processing of court cases.
- Gain valuable clerical experience while learning about legal procedures and court operations.
- Work in a professional, team-oriented environment that values accuracy and public service.
- Develop transferable skills in organization, communication, and attention to detail that support long-term career growth.
Required Minimum Qualifications
At the time of application, applicants must:
- Must be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) Test.
- Have had at least two (2) years of full-time clerical work experience in a court setting.
