Description

The University of Florida College of Nursing invites applications for full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Candidates must hold a PhD in nursing or a related healthcare field and demonstrate a strong record of research and scholarship.

We are particularly interested in individuals whose research and teaching expertise align with the following priority areas:

• Palliative care
• Pain and symptom science
• Bioinformatics, big data, and data science
• Maternal and infant health
• Aging
  
  

This position is based in Gainesville, Florida and is not remote or online.

Key Responsibilities

Research

• Assistant Professor: Develop and advance a defined program of research leading to extramural funding
• Associate/Full Professor: Maintain a focused, extramurally funded research program
• Collaborate with and lead interdisciplinary research teams
• Mentor early-career faculty, commensurate with rank
  
  

Teaching

• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research
• Teach courses aligned with areas of expertise
  
  

Service

• Provide professional service to the College, University, and discipline, commensurate with rank
