Summary/Objective

The Materials Clerk is responsible for receiving freight into HMS, maintaining receiving records, greeting sales representatives, sorting incoming mail from the Post Office and in-house printing in the Print Shop. While providing a positive role model and customer service to end users within the facility.

Essential Job Duties

• Greet and check in all sales representatives, while directing them to the appropriate personnel office. Answer all phone calls politely and professionally, expediting all calls.
• Assist with checking in of freight, printing worksheets, receiving documents, and assisting with labeling products with proper delivery points. Maintaining all PO’s, receipts and signed receivers.
• Sort incoming mail that is picked up from the Post Office, mail that is delivered and inter-office mail. Pick up outgoing mail from the mail campus and off-site locations per the mail schedule. All outgoing mail is returned to the Print Shop for pickup from the third party vendor.
• Prepare printed materials in a professional manner that is ordered by various departments.
• Ensure that problems or concerns regarding the Materials Management Department and other related areas are communicated to the Leadership Team of the Materials Department.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Leadership Team of the Materials Management Department.
