CAD/BIM Designer at Hazen and Sawyer

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an entry-level Civil 3D designer in our Raleigh, North Carolina office to assist our site/civil discipline group in producing high-quality drawings and construction documents for a variety of water, wastewater, and environmental infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will support engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce construction documents and other engineering design related assignments.

Responsibilities Include:

· Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, and details using Civil 3D for municipal infrastructure projects.

· Develop surfaces, alignments, corridors, pressure networks, and pipe networks within Civil 3D.

· Coordinate with engineers and designers from multiple engineering disciplines to ensure model integration and resolve conflicts.

· Apply client and company CAD standards and file organization protocols.

Required Qualifications:

· Experience with water, wastewater, stormwater, surveying, or site development projects preferred.

· Knowledge of surface modeling, grading tools, and pipe networks in Civil 3D.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Effective communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail.

Educational Requirements:

· Certificate, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Design, Drafting, or related field preferred.
