Your role

As a Financial Analyst I, your mission is to assist the business control team in financial administration as well as acting as a liason between various internal business fuctions such as customer service, service, sales, and marketing. You will report to the Accounting Manager. In addition, this position will assist in outlining the proper processes and procedures required for the business to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and where possible developing effiiciencies, processes, and tools to support operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Assist in ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting.
  • Assist our accounts payable team with invoice coding as well as other vendor inquiries.
  • Review subsidy invoices to provide coding as well as provide subsidy accrual.
  • Review employee's Concur reports weekly and correct entries as necessary.
  • Act as Concur administrator and assist employees with any Concur issues.
  • Act as Vendor BKU and submit new Vendor requests when needed.
  • Review gross profit regularly and research invoices/credits as needed.
  • Prepare forecasts and expectancies as needed.
  • Support business lines on ad hoc analysis.
  • Develop and maintain allocation methodology.
  • Review functional costs regularly and advise on cost-saving opportunities.
  • Other tasks as assiged by management.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience in finance is preferred. A Bachelors degree in accouting, finance, or a related major or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. This position requires a working knowledge of general accounting rules and financial reporting principles. Previous experience with SAP is strongly preferred.
