An overview of this position entails…This position is responsible for providing support to all functions of the PeopleOps Team including, but not limited to, Recruitment, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, and Benefits. This position must use good judgment in escalating employee relation issues and prioritizing tasks, utilize effective time management, and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers and programs to serve as an advisor to source, qualify, screen, interview, and hire candidates.
  • Complete the conditional offer process with applicants and internal transfers. Conduct new employee meetings to effectively welcome individuals to Hilltop.
  • Ensure timely processing of workers compensation claims, case management, and return to work efforts.
  • Coordinate, administer, monitor, and track employees FMLA, FAMLI, and ADA requests.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors referring complex matters to a PeopleOps Business Partner.
  • Assist supervisors in creating and delivering performance-related documentation and conversations.
  • Participate and conduct employee related investigations in a timely manner and share findings with program leadership and PeopleOps Business Partner.
  • Communicate regularly with employees and supervisors during recruiting, workers compensation, employee leave, and other employee relation situations to establish an effective employee experience.
  • Ensure PeopleOps systems (HRIS, Learning & Development Systems, Benefit Systems, etc) are used effectively to enhance the team’s processes and employee’s experience. Make recommendations to enhance systems.
  • Coordinate and/or complete PeopleOps projects as needed. Participate in cross-functional teams as requested to assist in these projects.
  • Manage assigned area of oversight (Workers Compensation, Leaves/Laws, or Recruitment) for the organization including preparing/presenting reports and dashboards, handling escalated situations, identifying and addressing trends, implementing new processes/procedures, and participating or leading external and internal audits.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Valid Colorado Driver’s License
