Loudoun United FC is seeking a dynamic and organized Director of Youth Programs to lead the strategic development, operational execution, and management of all non-league youth activities. This role is responsible for creating a consistent, high-quality, and profitable experience across all supplemental youth soccer programs, ensuring they align with the club’s brand and developmental philosophy. The roles main focus is on Summer and Winter programs.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

Program Strategy & Management

  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute a comprehensive annual strategy for all non-league youth programs, including Summer Camps, Winter Camps, Futsal programs, Footskills clinics, USL Youth developmental programs, and specialized training events.
  • Curriculum Development: Create and standardize age-appropriate curricula and coaching guides for all programs, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to Loudoun United’s core technical and tactical philosophy.
  • Budget & P&L: Manage the program budget, tracking revenue and expenses to ensure profitability and sustainable growth for the youth program portfolio.

Operations, Marketing & Enrollment

  • Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to develop promotional materials, digital campaigns, and enrollment strategies to meet registration goals.
  • Logistics & Scheduling: Manage all logistical requirements, including securing facilities (fields, gyms), scheduling session times, and coordinating equipment and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and participants, managing inquiries, feedback, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Registration Management: Oversee the registration process, including using online management systems (e.g., TeamSnap, GotSport) to track enrollment and payments.

Staffing & Development

  • Staff Recruitment: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of seasonal coaches, instructors, and support staff for all camps and clinics.
  • Staff Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of coaching staff to ensure high-quality instruction and adherence to the program curriculum and safety standards.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all programs comply with club safety policies, risk management protocols, and USL operational standards.

Required

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing and directing youth sports programs, camps, or similar. Experience with a professional or semi-professional soccer organization is highly desirable.
  • Administrative Skills: Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze enrollment data, and oversee complex logistical scheduling.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using registration software, team management tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with players, parents, staff, and external partners.
  • Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including significant hours during summer/winter camp seasons, evenings, and weekends.

Preferred

  • Experience developing and implementing Futsal or advanced footskills training programs.
  • A proven track record of growing enrollment and revenue in youth programs.
