Position Title: Quality Inspector II

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector II position is responsible for performing inspections at various stages of the production process to verify that products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. This role supports quality assurance by identifying defects, documenting results, and ensuring that nonconforming materials are properly addressed. The position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with internal specifications and external regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of products at various stages of the production process
  • Identify and report any defects or non-conformities
  • Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards
  • Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results
  • Communicate any quality issues to management in a timely manner
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency
  • Provide flexible support in final inspection, filling in as needed to maintain workflow and ensure consistent quality oversight.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
